1-on-1 Food Blog Coaching

Your blog, audience, and goals aren’t the same as every other food blogger out there, right?

Then your tools & strategies are going to look different too! I’m here to help whether you’re just getting started, need help setting goals & finding direction, or want a personalized strategy to grow your business!

How we can work together

Coaching Call

Not sure if your current strategy is effective or how to move forward? Need specific advice on an issue, or help understanding and analyzing data and concepts? During a coaching call, we’ll meet for an hour to discuss your goals and break down the roadblocks preventing you from achieving them, so you can move forward with confidence and clarity!

Blog Audit + 90-min Coaching Call

If you’re seeking in-depth, personalized feedback on your website, I’ll review your main pages+2 blog posts and provide detailed insights & suggestions. In addition to audit videos, you’ll receive a summary of the findings with specific resources, all delivered at least 1 week before our 90-minute coaching call. During the call, we’ll discuss the feedback and address your questions so you have a clear, actionable plan for success!

1-on-1 Mentorship

Looking for hands-on guidance and accountability? In our 1:1 Mentorship Program, I’ll get to know you and your business on a deeper level to help you create systems and strategies that work for you. You’ll get quick, detailed answers to all your questions via private DM, and enjoy in-depth strategy reviews during coaching calls. By the end of the mentorship, you’ll have the confidence and clarity to move forward independently!

Frequently Asked Questions

Of course! The 1-on-1 mentorship offers a more hands-on coaching experience. We’ll establish goals for you & your business and specific areas you’d like to improve. Based on those, we’ll map out a plan with strategy sessions and assignments. I’ll be with you every step of the way via private DM support and 1-on-1 coaching calls!

If you’re interested, please fill out the mentorship application form. If it seems like a good fit, we’ll hop on a call to chat and ensure we vibe well together 😊

The goal of the mentorship is to give you the knowledge, tools, and strategies to grow your food blog business confidently. It’s a done-with-you experience and I’m here to help whether you’re struggling with time management, backend technology, or content strategy!

To book a Blog Audit+Call, you’ll select a day & time for us to meet for a 90-minute coaching call and complete the payment.

Once the booking is confirmed, I’ll review your main blog pages+2 blog posts. While going through them, I’ll record my screen & audio so that you can see exactly what I’m looking at and understand the feedback I’m sharing.

During audits, I’ll review your…

  • Homepage
  • Navigation menu
  • Sidebar
  • Footer
  • About page
  • Recipe index
  • Category pages
  • 2 Blog posts
  • Site structure
  • User experience (UX)
  • Pagespeed insights (PSI)
  • Broken links
  • & more!

At least 1 week before our 90-minute call, I’ll send you the video audits and a document summarizing the findings, along with helpful resources. This will give you time to review everything before our call! I encourage you to add questions and comments to the document so we can review them together during the call.

On the booked date, we’ll hop on a Zoom call to review feedback and answer your questions! This call will be recorded so you have unlimited replays and I’ll be available via email to answer follow-up questions for 1 month afterward.

Beginner to intermediate food bloggers will benefit the most from my 1-on-1 coaching services.

If you’re thinking of starting a food blog, I’d recommend starting with a Coaching Call so we can set you up for success right away!

If you’re an established food blogger looking for specific advice or want to ensure you’re on the right track, audits and coaching calls will provide you with clarity, resources, and confidence to move forward.

Still not sure if this is right for you? Send me an email (kayla{at}foodblogcoaching{dot}com) or DM me on Instagram (@foodblogcoach) and we can chat about what you’re looking for and how I can help!

I’m always happy to chat about whether or not we’d be a good fit to work together! Feel free to send me an email (kayla{at}foodblogcoaching{dot}com) or a DM on Instagram (@foodblogcoach).

Many of the components I review during these audits involve SEO and ways you can improve it. However, SEO is just one piece of the blogging puzzle – I do not believe it should be your sole focus.

I have a great understanding of food blog SEO, enjoy staying on top of best practices, and love sharing my knowledge with fellow bloggers. That said, I do not consider myself an SEO expert. If you’re looking for an extensive SEO-specific audit, I recommend Casey Markee.

After many long, difficult conversations, Chris & I have decided to step back from coaching and focus on Broken Oven Baking in 2027.

We see a lot of potential in both businesses & love both of them, but we want to give ourselves a year to focus on the blog and see where we can take it!

I’m going to miss coaching and our members so much. I’ve learned a ton over the years & it’s been incredible to see their growth, not just in the numbers but in their mindset & confidence ❤️

At the same time, I’m excited to go all in on BOB!

Important details:

- The doors to our group coaching program are closing on Tuesday, October 6th, so if you’d like to join us for our final quarter, be sure to apply before then

- We’re continuing to build @foodblogstudio (& have some exciting updates coming soon!)

- I’m retiring my Blogging Bites newsletter, but I still plan on sending newsletters because I enjoy writing & connecting with you all!
