    Food Blog Coach, Kayla Burton.
    hey, I’m Kayla!

    It’s great to meet you!

I’m a science-nerd-turned-food-blogger 🤓 I launched my baking blog, Broken Oven Baking, in 2020 with little photography, recipe development, SEO, or blog experience. Within 2 years I accumulated the knowledge and skills to land paid brand partnerships and grow my blog to 50K monthly sessions.

Now while continuing to grow my blog, I help other food bloggers level up and achieve their dreams!

    Why I do it

“Kayla has changed not only my blog, but my outlook on my business, and my life. Since working with Kayla, my blog has experienced 70-120% growth month over month, for the last 3 months. I have systems in place and new processes that allow me to work smarter, not harder.”

I’ve been following Ella (@alpineella) for years, I’ve been following Ella (@alpineella) for years, and it was so fun getting to sit down and chat with her about her food blogging journey!

During our call, Ella shares the habit she’s built this year that’s made her go from feeling behind & negative to calm & confident…even while the industry panics about Google and AI.

She also opens up about her feelings of isolation & comparison and what’s helped her overcome them! There are so many great takeaways from our chat, and I just appreciate how real and expressive Ella is 🤗

I’ll be sharing our full discussion with my Blogging Bites email subscribers next week, so make sure you’re on the list!

Whether you’ve been trained to write generic blog posts, or just feel uncomfortable bragging about yourself in your writing (I’ve experienced both myself 😅), it’s something we have to work on if we want to stand out in today’s world & get our readers to like, know, and trust us!

Wanna join the discussion & improve your EEAT? DM me COACH and I’ll send you more info 😊
Seeing how boring & generic my old intros are is p Seeing how boring & generic my old intros are is probably my least favorite part of updating blog posts 🫣

Anyone Googling a recipe for white chocolate macadamia nut cookies already knows what they are. What they don’t know is who you are and why they should trust your recipe!

As search evolves, your authority, experience, and personality become even more important.

Your blog post’s intro is their first real impression of you, so make it count!

As someone who’s a much better editor than a marketing copywriter, I’m so grateful Chris built the Food Blog Studio app 😅 it saves me so much time updating blog posts to make them more personalized & on-brand!

DM me “Studio” if you want access to it! We just opened it up to the public and have a few spots left in our beta group 🎉
